Cannon Beach
Beginning as Cannon Beach with an overlay of white paint and glue, this painting portrays the effect of extreme heat events in Oregon in the Summer of 2021. Tearing away at the first overlay comprised of paint and glue created a global map like impression; originally in blue. Subsequent paint overlays and rotating the frame by 90 degrees create the final impression of water streaming from rocks above.
