Christine Jantz is an emerging abstract and landscape artist. Her aspiration is to make beautiful art with meaning and purpose by integrating her experience and expertise in Socially Responsible Investing (jantzmgmt.com).
She is currently working on two projects: the Ukraine Series and the Relationship Series. The Ukraine Series draws from contemporary reporting of the war in the Ukraine - capturing critical moments through abstract expressionism - evoked by stories and news. The Relationship Series explores the abstractions of human elements ("haystacks") depicting both simple and complex dynamic and static communication and influence.
Her unconventional resume for an artist includes a B.A. in Mathematical Sciences from Bethel College, M.S. in Statistics from the University of Iowa and and M.B.A from MIT Sloan.
In 2022, "Not A Handshake" and "Depth" below were selected in curated and digital exhibits; in addition, "Crowd Sourcing / Social Media" and other paintings were accepted into the Corporate Art Loan Program at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.
